Snake on a Dress

I attended a gala recently and was opposed to wearing a floor length gown despite the invitation calling for black tie. I wanted to look fashion forward yet still appropriate and thought this Erin Fetherston cocktail dress with gem embellishments was perfect for the occasion. My miu miu glitter sole pumps were just the right amount of silver to compliment the dress. I toned down the accessories and wore just a pair of studs and a bracelet to allow the jewels on the dress to shine.

I previously created a post called steel heels but since then the trend has kicked up full force so I thought I'd create another post called Mirror Pumps to list the various mirror pump options. I really like how Karolina paired the cool toned shoes with an orange and blue dress. It is an unexpected clash that works really well together. Silver pumps can be worn casually with jeans or you can glam them up. My go to pair are four inch t-straps from Michael Kors that I have had well over three years. They are so versatile.
